John Albert Davis and Ann Chapman

John Albert (1852 - 1931) married Ann Chapman (1843 -1937) in 1875.

Along with his parents, John moved to the Spring Hill/Orange district in the late 1860s. In his youth he bought a property and named it 'Studleigh". He bred draught horses and farmed produce.  John and Ann Chapman had twelve children, nine of whom survived to adulthood.
