Harriet Hawkins was the first child of Joseph Hawkins and Susan Wilson. She was born before they were married in 1852.
Sadly, Harriet died at the age of 6 in 1858. Her death certificate lists cause of death was accidental burning. She is buried at St Peters Cemetery in Richmond, NSW with her brother Thomas Hawkins. Her headstone lists her as Harriet Wilson as she took her mother's surname.
